Studio Crawl 2017: October 7 & 8 NOON- 6:00 PM During the free two-day Studio Crawl, which is always the first weekend in October, artists throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area open their doors to the public. You are invited to join us! Download the 2017 Studio Crawl brochure and map here.  Artists who demonstrate their craft and talk about studio life during the Studio Crawl are established artists, emerging artists, and arts educators. They represent a diversity of process in raku, ceramic, paper, fabric, wood, glass, metals, acrylics, oil and watercolor.

Some destinations, including NDSU Downtown’s Renaissance Hall, house more than one artist. Some studios are in backyard garages and storefronts close to the center of the metro area, and some are located on farmsteads in outlying areas. Many serve refreshments. The Studio Crawl partners with other arts providers to offer a weekend cluster of activities — past years have included preview exhibits at the Plains Art Museum, artist receptions at DK Custom Framing @ Gallery 14, The Spirit Room, and Ecce. Fargo’s art-themed hotel, The Hotel Donaldson, has hosted a beer tasting. Look for your free Studio Crawl brochure and handy map at Plains Art Museum, from participating artists, on this website and printed in The High Plains Reader. All studio locations are marked with bright red signs to help you navigate your weekend. The Studio Crawl is possible with support from the community and these generous sponsors.
